Does this scene look familiar? You’re beyond the point of no return.

Just as you make it through the fog of war there are forces waiting to mock and troll you on the other side.

Do you feel your efforts are all for naught lately?

Like others are getting more than their fair share of attention and praise?

Are you comparing yourself to them, shaking your head, asking why?

Are you an old soul? Concerned about the budding generation of writers?

Good. You have the fuel. So let’s use it.

I plan on hosting a Zoom meeting once a week, for anyone who wishes to join. It runs as long as we need.

The focus will be on creation. Until it motivates you enough to sign off, and/or mute the world, and get your story done.

There is no cost involved other than the time you put into this. Time is valuable enough.

The purpose is to exceed the boundaries of personal comfort zone. To offend others until we realize we’re talking to ourselves in the mirror. And then, and only then, shall we return with our greatest works in hand.

No restrictions. No censorship. No offense taken. Strike that — go ahead and get pissed off. Let it fuel your writing.

If you wish to be a part of this guild, it will involve constant production. We will not be talking about writing as much as we will be writing.

The first meeting will be on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022. Time will be announced, and I’m thinking it won’t be recorded. You get what you give, kind of thing.

Email william@immortaltype.com and let me know a bit about what you’re looking to accomplish with your writing, and if there is a deadline, we will meet it.

If you attend, you will write. That’s my promise.
